"I lived in Toronto, a single mother with 2 kids at university. After Sept. 11/2001 I lost my job and could not easily find a new job at age 51. I decided to become my own boss and to work from home. I decided to buy a Bed & Breakfast and put my little house up for sale. In Toronto, Niagara-on-the-Lake and Muskoka the prices were way too expensive for me. I checked the Internet and found a cute little town in B.C. with a nice B&B for sale in my price range. Everything seemed so perfect untilI tried to get a mortgage.
